This Week the Theater Department will be holding open auctions both Thursday and Friday for our Fall Night of One Acts. Each person who auditions will have the opportunity to be cast in one or more of the three short one act plays which incorporate both comedy and drama. If you are interested in auditioning, sign up through this form.

Seniors - College Awareness and Preparation Workshop
This upcoming Monday, August 29 during 2nd lunch. Mrs. Caraballo will be offering a College Prep workshop. If you have not registered and would like to do so please email Mrs. Caraballo by tomorrow. We will meet for two sessions (Monday and Tuesday) during 2nd lunch. It will be great!

Venture Club Meeting Aug. 30. Mandatory meeting in Mrs. McFarland's room (1st lunch) to talk about our upcoming "Gleaning" trip. This is a fun service trip to begin our club year . You will learn about the art of gleaning tomatoes and the way they will be served to people in need that very night through soup kitchens and food pantries. Come find out the details. All welcome!

Varsity & JV Boys' Basketball Meeting
There will be a meeting for all high school boys interested in Varsity or JV Boys' Basketball this Thursday, September 1 during the first SMART Lunch session (12:10-12:35) in Room 4102 (FLC).
Baseball Interest Meeting
There will be a meeting with Coach Seibert this Thursday, September 1 at 3:00pm in Room 4104 (FLC) for all high school boys interested in playing baseball .
On Thursday, our Varsity Men's Soccer team will face Cannon School at home at 5:30pm. Admission is $5 (free for kids 10 and under).
Varsity Football Home Game This Friday
Our Varsity Football team returns home this Friday, September 2 at 7:00pm against North Raleigh Christian Academy! The theme for the game is "Neon Night," so wear your brightest neon colors! Students who come dressed for "Neon Night" will receive $1 admission to the game. Regular admission for the game is $5 (free for kids 10 and under).

October Football Theme Night Changed
The theme for the Varsity Football home game on Friday, October 14 has been changed to Pink Night in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month. Students who dress in pink for the theme night will receive $1 admission to the game.
