Results from Wednesday
Varsity Softball: W, HGCS-7, GCS-3
The Women's Varsity Soccer team defeated Northside Christian Academy on Tuesday 9-0. The Lady Lions played with a well-organized defense and strong, skilled midfield and forward.
Goals were scored by Maren Syska (3) on her birthday, Dani Calhoun (3), Rea Syska (2) and Jessica Williams. Assists were Rea Syska (3), Jessica Williams (2), Maren Syska (2) on her birthday, and Kirsten Herberg.
The Lady Lions play away on Thursday at Gaston Christian and home Friday vs. Cannon School. Come out and support your team who is currently number one in the conference!

Athletic Department Garage Sale
The HGCS Athletic Department is having a Garage Sale this Friday, April 21st from 3:00 to 5:30pm at the Field House! We are selling old uniforms and gear for football, soccer, baseball, cheerleading, basketball, volleyball, and golf.
Spring Sports Senior Night
Senior Night for Varsity Baseball and Varsity Men's Golf will be on Friday, April 21. We will recognize senior athletes from these two teams before the start of the Varsity Baseball home game. Senior Night for all other spring sports will be on Tuesday, April 25. We will recognize our senior Varsity Softball player at the home softball game that afternoon. Seniors from the Varsity Women's Soccer, Varsity Track, and Varsity Men's Tennis teams will be recognized before warm-ups for the Varsity Women's Soccer game.
Spring Sports Banquet
This year's Spring Sports Banquet will be held on Monday, May 8 at 6:30pm in Gyms A/B for all spring Varsity teams. Dinner will be served, and we will recognize award winners for each team. All spring Varsity athletes and their immediate families are invited to attend.
