The Birth of Jesus (I will keep adding to this until verse 20))

In those days, Caesar Augustus issued a decree that a census should be taken of the entire Roman world, This was the first census that took place while Quirinius was governor of Syria and everyone went to his own town to register. So Joseph also went up from the town of Nazareth in Galilee to Judea, to Bethlehem the town of David because he belonged to the house and line of David. He went there with Mary, who was pledged to be married to him and was expecting a child. While they were there, the time came for the baby to be born and she gave birth to her firstborn, a son. She wrapped him in cloths and place him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn.

Attention Seniors: If you would like to prepare songs, games, and a drama to present to the people in the Domincan, please meet in Mrs. Booksh’s room during smart lunch on Friday.

We will be there first and second lunch; if you can bring your food and come to both sessions that would be ideal. If not, please try to come to one. E-mail Mrs. Booksh if you have questions.

NO COLLAR FOR $1.00

Tomorrow, you may wear UGLY Christmas sweaters or holiday tshirts. Again, be sure that they are free from any graphics and wording that do not uphold the mission of our church and school. See Mrs. Staples to pay and get your hand stamped.

VENTURE CLUB: Mandatory meeting for our December Ice Skating Trip (which will be Dec. 15th uptown) Attend our regular monthly meeting on Thursday, Dec. 7 in Mrs. McFarland's room - 1st lunch. You cannot attend this ice skating trip if you do not come to this mandatory meeting. See you soon, and practice those smooth ice skating moves!

Christmas/Grandparents Chapel is coming next Thursday, Dec 7 Honor dress required

Come prepared! For details on song to prepare, acting and dance tips go to the Spring Musical audition classroom:

6th-12th grade are invited to audition.

No background in theater is required.

You will need to pack a non-microwavable lunch and a drink. You will not be allowed to leave campus if you forget your lunch.

Charging Station: Is available in the high school office.

First use no consequence
Second use lunch detention assigned
Third use lunch detention assigned
Fourth and above after school detention assigned
Consistently forgetting to bring chromebook fully charged to school may result in more severe
Consequences.

STAY CONNECTED to the High School Guidance Office to receive important info about planning for college, taking the SAT or ACT, and celebrating with your classmates when they get accepted to a college or University!
