Things you need to know
This past Saturday at the Clash of the Carolinas track meet, Daniel Similton broke the school record in the 1600 with a time of 4:35.39, placing 3rd place in the meet!


Little Mermaid tickets for sale either on Brushfire, or through Mrs. Robertson.  Tickets are $7.00.  Click here to purchase tickets through Brushfire.

SOPHOMORES:
Today, report to rooms 1111/1112 during 1st lunch for an informational class ring meeting.

SMART Lunch schedule for 2nd semester:
Here is the new SMART lunch schedule for 2nd semester.

Chromebooks:  If you have any issues with your Chromebook please email the IT department at chromebooks@hgchristian.org


Charging Station:  Is available in the high school office.
  • First use no consequence
  • Second use lunch detention assigned
  • Third use lunch detention assigned
  • Fourth and above after school detention assigned
  • Consistently forgetting to bring chromebook fully charged to school may result in more severe
  • Consequences.

GLOBAL AMBASSADOR APPLICATIONS FOR 2018-19 SCHOOL YEAR NOW BEING ACCEPTED.  BE A LEADER, CHANGE THE WORLD, MAKE A FRIEND!  THIS IS A GREAT WAY TO SERVE OUR INTERNATIONAL STUDENT COMMUNITY.  PICK UP AN APPLICATION TODAY FROM MRS. SMITH'S OFFICE IN THE HIGH SCHOOL.

WE ARE HIKING A PART OF MT. MITCHELL (6,684 FT.) WITH THE VENTURE CLUB.  PICK UP AN INFORMATION FLYER FROM MRS. McFARLAND'S ROOM.

GUIDANCE OFFICE
STAY CONNECTED to the High School Guidance Office to receive important info about planning for college, taking the SAT or ACT, and celebrating with your classmates when they get accepted to a college or University!

ATHLETICS

Signing Party:
The Athletic Department will be hosting a signing party for Ellie Johnson, who is committing to play basketball at Franklin College, on Monday, March 19th during high school SMART lunch first session (12:10pm) in FLC room 4102. All basketball teammates, seniors, faculty, and staff are invited to attend. 
Volleyball Workout
Varsity Volleyball workouts will be held in Gym B on Mondays and Thursdays from 2:45 to 4:15 beginning March 12th through the month of April. Please contact Coach Brittany Blackmon at brittanyblackmon@hgchristian.org if you plan to attend workouts.
