Things you need to know
9th-11th grade only, Black and white Spring Pictures are coming: Meet the photographers in the courtyard between the FLC and the Education Building. School dress code including collared shirts will be required.
- April 16 9th grade during lunch (Alvarenga-Mackey 1st lunch; Massie-Ziglar 2nd lunch)
- April 17 11th grade during lunch (Adams-Laney 1st lunch; Larson-Zhang 2nd lunch)
- April 18 10th grade (Angle-Mann 1st lunch; Massengale-Wolfe 2nd lunch)
VENTURE CLUB:
Our "Lake Day" is coming soon..... informational meeting this Friday 1st lunch, McFarland's room. We are heading to Lake Norman after school on April 20 (Friday) to paddle board, kayak and sail. Join us for a fun afternoon in the sun, on the lake, with friends.
ICC (International Culture Club)
IT'S COMING......APRIL 26 ICC INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL BE ON THE LOOK OUT FOR MORE INFORMATION SOON!
ICC - International Festival Participant:
We are looking for HG students who would like to share their "Cultural Heritage" at our 2nd annual international festival on April 26th. Sign up outside of the HS office if you wish to participate.
SMART Lunch schedule for 2nd semester:
Here is the new SMART lunch schedule for 2nd semester.
Chromebooks: If you have any issues with your Chromebook please email the IT department at chromebooks@hgchristian.org
Charging Station: Is available in the high school office.
- First use no consequence
- Second use lunch detention assigned
- Third use lunch detention assigned
- Fourth and above after school detention assigned
- Consistently forgetting to bring chromebook fully charged to school may result in more severe consequences.

ATHLETICS
The Varsity Women's soccer team defeated Concord First Assembly on Tuesday 5-0.
The Varsity Women's Soccer home game this Friday, April 13th against SouthLake has been moved up to 4:30 (originally scheduled for 5:30).
The Varsity Women's soccer team defeated Concord First Assembly on Tuesday 5-0.
Goals were by Rea Syska (3), Bekah Fogal (1) and Ashlyn Day (1). Assists were by Milla Syska, Grace Hardman and Rea Syska.
Lucy Jennings had 10 saves in goal. The back defensive line helped keep a clean score sheet.
The Lady Lions play again this Friday at home at 4:30 vs. Southlake Christian Academy.
