POWDER PUFF INFO:
If you signed up for Powder Puff Football, please note that it is on MONDAY, September 25th following the JV football game. Play will most likely begin around 6:30 pm
Mrs. Staples needs to know who your staff sponsor is by the end of SMART LUNCH on Thursday. Remember that you may only have TWO student coaches this year. Mrs. Staples needs those names as well.
Work together as a team so that you are in agreement on those decisions.

code will be required.
- 9/19: 9th grade 1st lunch A-J 2nd lunch K-Z
- 9/20: 10th grade same as above
- 9/21: 11th grade same as above

Chromebooks: If you have any issues with your Chromebook please email the IT department at chromebooks@hgchristian.org
Charging Station: Is available in the high school office.
- First use no consequence
- Second use lunch detention assigned
- Third use lunch detention assigned
- Fourth and above after school detention assigned
- Consistently forgetting to bring chromebook fully charged to school may result in more severe
- Consequences.

Elementary Mentoring Mandatory Meeting Friday 1st Lunch for those who have an assigned elementary student. Check Classroom or see Mrs. Davis to see if you have an assigned student. This meeting is only for those who have an assigned student.
This is Week 2 for SMART lunch clubs.

USA Night at Varsity Football Home Game
Friday, September 15th is USA Night at the Varsity Football home game against the Carolina Gladiators at 7:00pm! Students who dress for USA Night will be admitted to the game for just $1! Regular admission for the game is $5 (free for kids 10 & under).
.5th Quarter Cornhole Tournament
Join us for the "5th Quarter" Cornhole Tournament immediately following the Varsity Football home game on Friday, September 15th in Gyms A & B!
Registration is open to for high school and middle school students, parents, and teachers. High school and middle school students and parents can sign up for $10 per team of two (cash only). Teachers may register a team of two for free. Sign-ups will be held with Mrs. Rhodes from September 11th-15th during lunch. The deadline to register a team is the end of lunch on Friday, September 15th.
All money collected from the tournament will go to missions and hurricane relief efforts.

Varsity Softball Championship Presentation
The Athletic Department will be recognizing the 2017 HGCS Varsity Softball team this Friday at the Varsity Football home game for their state championship season! We will be presenting the players and coaches with their championship rings during halftime of the football game. Please join us as we celebrate the softball team's outstanding accomplishment!
Student Volunteers After Games
We are in need of high school students to help break down the field and clean up after home football games. Students can receive community service hours for volunteering for clean-up. All student volunteers should meet Mrs. Garner at the top of the student section beside the press box immediately after the football game ends.
Fall Team Pictures
The following is the remaining team picture schedule for fall sports:

2:45 - JV Football (Field)
3:00 - Varsity Football (Field)
Please be sure to bring your uniform to wear for team pictures. All athletes will take individual pictures in addition to the team picture, even if they are not purchasing the individual picture. Please make sure to bring your Sports Picture Order Form and money to turn in to Julie Scott, the photographer, on picture day.
