Powder Puff Update:
Today is the last day to sign up for the Powder Puff event. Participants must have a class shirt to play.
Class t-shirts:
Class t-shirts are now for sale. You may order through Brushfire. Orders will be through Sunday, September 8. Once orders close on Sunday, students will not be able to order. We have a deadline to make sure we get the shirts before Spirit Week. Click here to order. Orders will not be accepted in person. Please use Brushfire to order.
School pictures:
St. John will be at Hickory Grove on the following dates to take pictures: School dress
code will be required.
- 9/19: 9th grade 1st lunch A-J 2nd lunch K-Z
- 9/20: 10th grade same as above
- 9/21: 11th grade same as above

Chromebooks: If you have any issues with your Chromebook please email the IT department at chromebooks@hgchristian.org
Charging Station: Is available in the high school office.
- First use no consequence
- Second use lunch detention assigned
- Third use lunch detention assigned
- Fourth and above after school detention assigned
- Consistently forgetting to bring chromebook fully charged to school may result in more severe consequences.
Clubs:
This is Week 1 for SMART lunch clubs.
Seniors:
If you would like to design a t-shirt for the Dominican, submit your design request to michelewilson@hgchristian.org by September 11.

ATHLETICS:
.5th Quarter Cornhole Tournament
Join us for the "5th Quarter" Cornhole Tournament immediately following the Varsity Football home game on Friday, September 15th in Gyms A & B!
Registration is open to for high school and middle school students, parents, and teachers. High school and middle school students and parents can sign up for $10 per team of two (cash only). Teachers may register a team of two for free. Sign-ups will be held with Mrs. Rhodes from September 11th-15th during lunch. The deadline to register a team is the end of lunch on Friday, September 15th.
All money collected from the tournament will go to missions and hurricane relief efforts.

The MS and Varsity Soccer games scheduled for this Friday at Gaston Christian have been moved up to 4:00 and 5:30 (formerly 5:30 and 7:00). The MS team will have early dismissal at 2:15pm.
