NIGHT OF ONE ACTS:
The theater students will be presenting a Night of One Acts on Friday and Saturday of this week.  One Acts will begin at 7:00 pm and there will be 3 to 4 short plays throughout the night.  There will be an intermission between the plays.

"Don't be trashy...recycle!!  National Recycling Day is Wednesday, November 15 and HGCS is starting a recycling campaign in the cafeteria!!  Recycle your bottles and cans and guess how much the recycling weighs for Wednesday, Thursday and Friday and you could win a $20 gift  card!!  One winner per grade will be determined next Friday.  Sponsored by the Campus Environmental Impact Committee (CEIC)"  PLEASE POST ALL 5 DAYS NEXT WEEK


"SNHS Inductions for NEW MEMBERS will be held Smart Lunch I in Mrs. Townsend's room on WEDNESDAY, November 15.  Please make every effort to come and receive your certificate and be sworn in.  See Mrs. T with any conflicts"  


Rho Kappa will continue to sell baked goods this week outside the cafeteria.  
The sales for the rest of the week will go toward buying diapers for babies in the Dominican Republic.

Red Cross HOSA sponsored blood drive
When:  Monday, November 20th from 11:00-3:30
Room 1111 near the book store
Students must be at least 16 to donate.  Students who are 16 or 17 must have a parent permission form signed.  Bring it with you to your appointment.  Mrs. Wilson and Mrs. Shelton have forms in the high school office and school health room.

Ask any HOSA member or Nurse Shelton if you have any questions.

If you are going on the Venture Club hike  (this Saturday) please attend the  meeting  1st lunch in Mrs. Mcfarland's room to finalize our plans.

The HG Spirit store is open is you want to order any HG clothing.  November 19 is the last day to order.

Bless a child for Christmas  Toys for Tots collection dates will be Nov 1 thru Nov 30.

Thank you for thinking of a child who won’t have anything for Christmas but because of your donation, a child will be Blessed and the Lord through you will be glorified..

Chromebooks:  If you have any issues with your Chromebook please email the IT department at chromebooks@hgchristian.org


Charging Station:  Is available in the high school office.


  • First use no consequence
  • Second use lunch detention assigned
  • Third use lunch detention assigned
  • Fourth and above after school detention assigned
  • Consistently forgetting to bring chromebook fully charged to school may result in more severe
  • Consequences.

SENIORS - Don’t forget to request transcripts as soon as you apply to a college!  You can request a transcript easily by using this link:   
ATHLETICS
This Friday is "Lions' Den Night" at the first home basketball games of the season! The AAA Booster Club will be selling "Lions' Den" student section t-shirts for $5, and students who wear these t-shirts will be admitted to the games for the discounted rate of $1!

Due to Charlotte Latin's participation in the state football championship this Friday, November 17th, our JV and Varsity Basketball teams will be playing Tabernacle Christian School instead. Game times have not changed, and the MS Basketball teams will still play Charlotte Latin in Gym C.
