Things you need to know:.

Free illustration: Dodgeball, Mlb, Logo, Banner, Flyer - Free ...Be on the lookout for Dodgeball information. Start picking your teams.  Each team will consist of 6 players.  Each player will pay $5.00 and each team will turn in $30.00 to Mrs. Davis.  Games will be Nov 13, 14 and 17 in Gyms A & B during lunch.  Sign up sheets are in the High School office.

Don't forget to set your clocks back an hour Saturday night before you go to bed. You will get an extra hour of sleep.

HOSA FALL BLOOD DRIVE:
On Nov 20, the HOSA club will be sponsoring a blood drive from 11:00-3:30 in rooms 1111/1112. If you are over 16 you may give blood. Parental permission is needed if you are 16 or 17. I have the permission slips in the office. If you are 18, you do not need parental permission however you should still talk with them. Athletes, you may need to discuss with your coach as well. GIVE BLOOD, SAVE A LIFE.


The HG Spirit store is open is you want to order any HG clothing.  November 19 is the last day to order.

Bless a child for Christmas  Toys for Tots collection dates will be Nov 1 thru Nov 30.

HighSchool collection box:  High School office.

Bring a new, unwrapped toy

Thank you for thinking of a child who won’t have anything for Christmas but because of your donation, a child will be Blessed and the Lord through you will be glorified..

You can turn in any donations to Mr. Hamilton's office or the HS office. While this is an ongoing ministry, we are hoping to have a representative from a local agency to accept our donations at the next chapel

Chromebooks:  If you have any issues with your Chromebook please email the IT department at chromebooks@hgchristian.org

Charging Station:  Is available in the high school office.

  • First use no consequence
  • Second use lunch detention assigned
  • Third use lunch detention assigned
  • Fourth and above after school detention assigned
  • Consistently forgetting to bring chromebook fully charged to school may result in more severe
  • Consequences.

Clubs:
This is Week 1 for SMART lunch clubs.

GUIDANCE OFFICE
STAY CONNECTED to the High School Guidance Office to receive important info about planning for college, taking the SAT or ACT, and celebrating with your classmates when they get accepted to a college or University!

SENIORS - Don’t forget to request transcripts as soon as you apply to a college!  You can request a transcript easily by using this link:   
ATHLETICS
The HGCS Varsity Football team received the #4 seed bid for the state tournament and will be hosting a first round game this Friday, November 3rd at 7:30pm against Harrells Christian Academy!

The NCISAA sets admissions prices for all state tournament games, which we are required to follow. Admissions for this first round game will be $7 for adults, $5 for students, and free for children 8 and under. Booster Club passes, conference coaches' passes, faculty/staff ID's, etc. cannot be accepted at state tournament games.

The theme for this Friday's game is "Black Out". Please note that due to state admissions policy, students will not be able to receive a discount for participating in the theme night.
