Things you need to know:
HOSA CANDY GRAM SALE:
On Monday, February 12th HOSA will be selling candy grams for Valentines Day during lunch.  Students will be able to purchase a heart sucker for $1 or a chocolate sucker for $2.  All proceeds will be donated to the American Heart Association for heart month.
Students will fill out a tag with who it is to and from and the person's 2nd block teacher.
Tuesday afternoon HOSA students will attach the tags to the suckers and group them together according to 2nd block teachers and deliver them to you or to your box in the office.  EXACT CHANGE PLEASE.


Bake Sale and No Collar for a DOLLAR:

On Feb 14there will be a bake sale and no collar for $1.00,  This is being sponsored by Student Council and the money will go towards missions.  See Mrs. Staples on Feb 14 to turn in your $1.00 and get your hand stamped.

SMART Lunch schedule for 2nd semester:
Here is the new SMART lunch schedule for 2nd semester.

Chromebooks:  If you have any issues with your Chromebook please email the IT department at chromebooks@hgchristian.org


Charging Station:  Is available in the high school office.
  • First use no consequence
  • Second use lunch detention assigned
  • Third use lunch detention assigned
  • Fourth and above after school detention assigned
  • Consistently forgetting to bring chromebook fully charged to school may result in more severe
  • Consequences.

This is Week 2 for SMART lunch clubs.

GUIDANCE OFFICE
STAY CONNECTED to the High School Guidance Office to receive important info about planning for college, taking the SAT or ACT, and celebrating with your classmates when they get accepted to a college or University!


SENIORS - Don’t forget to request transcripts as soon as you apply to a college!  You can request a transcript easily by using this link:   
ATHLETICS
1) Varsity Women's Soccer workouts will be held this Tuesday and Thursday from 3:00 to 4:30 at the soccer field. 
2) Spring sports tryouts begin on Monday. Check the athletic announcements blog for details and tryout dates/times for each sport.

3) On Friday, the Varsity Women's Basketball team took 2nd place in the MAC Tournament. They got the #8 seed in the state tournament and will host a first round home game tomorrow (Tuesday, February 13th) at 5:30 against Forsyth Country Day. Admission for the game is $7 for adults, $5 for students, and free for kids 8 & under.
