Rho Kappa

Rho Kappa National Social Studies Honor Society: Honor and AP Students wanting to join Rho Kappa must submit the new member application to Mrs.Davis by August 30th along with $20.00 dues paid in cash. Returning members only need to submit

$15.00 dues paid in cash to Mrs.Davis no later than August 30th. Please email or see Mrs. Davis if you have any questions.

Seniors
If you did not attend the senior meeting on Wednesday you must attend Friday during 2nd lunch. Attending this meeting is mandatory. You should meet us in rooms 1111/1112 and be sure you can log into Naviance PRIOR to the meeting.

Tickets will go on sale tomorrow during lunch by the cafeteria. Cash or Venmo will be accepted. NO CHECKS. Tickets- $35 through 9/16 - after 9/16 and at the door $45

Fall Pictures will be taken on August 28 during lunch. School dress code required.

Chromebooks: If you have any issues with your Chromebook please email the IT department at chromebooks@hgchristian.org

Charging Station: Is available in the high school office.

First, use no consequence
Second use lunch detention assigned
Third use lunch detention assigned
Fourth and above after-school detention assigned
Consistently forgetting to bring Chromebook fully charged to school may result in more severe consequences.

Employment opportunity

The Family Life Center is looking to fill 1-2 positions. If you are at least 16 years old, please read the following to see if you are interested:

Person must be mature, responsible, and a good face for HGBC
Oversees FLC during operating hours. Greets members maintains payments, make sure FLC is tidy
FLC is open afternoons during the week and Saturday mornings
During basketball season, the FLC hours will increase into the afternoon. FLC employees assist with setting up/tearing down for games, and anything else the Recreation Ministry may need help with to make practice/game days successful.
Work at the Mint Hill Complex overseeing practices/games, trash pick up, clean restrooms, light yard work
Complex hours would be mostly evenings and Saturday mornings
