Things you need to know:
Auditions for the Fall Play
August 17th at 3:00 pm we will hold auditions for the fall High School play on the basement stage.
If you are a student in high school you are eligible to audition. You do not have to be registered in the theater class. Come prepared with a monologue no longer than a minute in length and at least 30 seconds in length. If you need assistance with this or have any questions contact Mrs Robertson at abigailrobertson@hgchristian.org.
The Fall Play will take place November 16th, 17th and 18th. Students will need to be able to commit to these dates as well as various rehearsal dates throughout September and October.
We look forward to seeing all of the wonderful talent we have at Hickory Grove at these auditions.
Early dismissal:
Due to the solar eclipse occurring on Monday, August 21, students will be dismissed at 12:00. Unless you are assigned to after school or have heard from your coach as to plans for practice, you must be off campus by 12:15.
Chromebooks: If you have any issues with your Chromebook please email the IT department at chromebooks@hgchristian.org
Charging Station: Is available in the high school office.
- First use no consequence
- Second use lunch detention assigned
- Third use lunch detention assigned
- Fourth and above after school detention assigned
- Consistently forgetting to bring chromebook fully charged to school may result in more severe consequences.
Clubs:
Club Fair tomorrow during SMART lunch in Gyms A and B.
- 11th/12th grade: go to Club fair meeting during 1st lunch, eat during 2nd
- 9th/10th grade: eat first lunch, go to Club fair during second lunch

STAY CONNECTED to the High School Guidance Office to receive important info about planning for college, taking the SAT or ACT, and celebrating with your classmates when they get accepted to a college or University!
