Things you need to know:
Auditions for the Fall Play
August 17th at 3:00 pm we will hold auditions for the fall High School play on the basement stage.
If you are a student in high school you are eligible to audition. You do not have to be registered in the theater class. Come prepared with a monologue no longer than a minute in length and at least 30 seconds in length. If you need assistance with this or have any questions contact Mrs Robertson at abigailrobertson@hgchristian.org.
The Fall Play will take place November 16th, 17th and 18th. Students will need to be able to commit to these dates as well as various rehearsal dates throughout September and October.
We look forward to seeing all of the wonderful talent we have at Hickory Grove at these auditions.
Early dismissal:
Due to the solar eclipse occurring on Monday, August 21, students will be dismissed at 12:00. Unless you are assigned to after school or have heard from your coach as to plans for practice, you must be off campus by 12:15.
Chromebooks: If you have any issues with your Chromebook please email the IT department at chromebooks@hgchristian.org
Charging Station: Is available in the high school office.
- First use no consequence
- Second use lunch detention assigned
- Third use lunch detention assigned
- Fourth and above after school detention assigned
- Consistently forgetting to bring chromebook fully charged to school may result in more severe consequences.
Student Drivers:
You received an email yesterday concerning your responsibilities as a driver on the Hickory Grove Campus.
This is a second reminder:
- 10 demerits will be issued to anyone who does not display a valid parking permit or parks in a spot other that the one that been assigned to him or her
- 40 demerits and PTR will be issued to anyone who speeds or drives recklessly on Hickory Grove property. Officer Dan does have the authority and will ticket reckless drivers

Hawaiian Night at Varsity Football Friday
This Friday is Hawaiian Night at the Varsity Football home game against Union Academy Charter at 7:00pm! Students who dress for Hawaiian Night will be admitted to the game for just $1! Regular admission for the game is $5 (free for kids 10 & under).
Player Fees Due
Player fees for fall athletes are due before the first game of the team's season. Student-athletes who have not turned in their fees before the first game of their season will not be eligible to play in any games until all outstanding fees have been paid. Fees are $95 for MS and JV teams, and $105 for Varsity teams.
